FEATURED PROJECTS

Villa 01 is an extensive refurbishment and addition to an existing transitional villa in Grey Lynn, Auckland. The project includes the addition of a media room and garage at basement level, internally linked to a contemporary new extension that provides multiple living areas connected to a covered courtyard, pool, and terraced garden.

A key feature of the design is the way natural light is drawn into the heart of the villa, particularly through a large slice of skylight positioned above the internal stair. Windows frame views to the garden and pool, while built-in window seats create opportunities for connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

This project blends respect for the existing villa character with a confident, modern addition — tailored for flexible living, entertaining and enjoying the entire site.

We’re excited to be part of the consultant team behind the new signature ride coming to Rainbow’s End in 2025. Our role includes the design of customer experience areas, support spaces, bridge and platform structures — all integral to the immersive experience of the ride.

In collaboration with the client and their creative teams, we are also contributing to the overall theming and atmosphere of the attraction. It’s a project that brings together technical complexity, creative thinking, and visitor-focused design — and we’re thrilled to help bring it to life.

We were fortunate to be invited by a family member at the beginning of their hospitality journey to help bring their vision for Wilson BBQ to life. Set within a large existing office/industrial space, the project was driven by a need to transform the environment on a minimal budget — but with maximum impact.

Through smart, efficient planning and innovative design thinking, we created a space that balances industrial character with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A key part of our approach was understanding the operational flow of the restaurant during both peak and quieter periods, ensuring the layout supported flexibility and functionality.

We used clever design tools and materials to create a space that feels fresh, robust, and approachable — a great example of how thoughtful design can elevate a project.
